About Mrs. Isaac This is my 8th year as a Crestmont Coyote, and I LOVE being a Coyote. (Can you guess where I am in the picture?) I have taught every grade at Crestmont except 3rd (although I student taught in 3rd grade at a different school.) I have a wonderful husband and 4 children--3 are grown and one is still in school. I love to spend my free time with my family. My daughter and I especially love to paint pottery, eat frozen yogurt, ride our bikes, and ride roller coasters when we get the chance. Three years ago I decided to follow my older sister's lead and begin running. I ran my first 1/2 marathon in 2014 and have run four since then. I proved to myself that you are never too old to try something new, and the things that at first appear impossible are even more rewarding once they are achieved. |
STEM Education I have always been passionate about Science, (and reading, and social studies--math is a close second). This year I was presented with the opportunity to earn my Master's Degree through the NASA Endeavor program and Columbia Teacher's College; with a part of my program through Adam's State University. The focus is on STEM education--integrating science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. I am so excited to bring new ideas and STEM activities to our class this year.
